Q: Why Don't You Write More About Vista?

Bookmark and Share

A: There are several reasons.

  • My heart isn't in it.  I don't use Vista myself and basically try to steer everyone away from it when at all possible.
  • I think it is a flawed operating system, and there is going to be a mass upgrade to Windows 7 when it comes out.
  • There are plenty of sites out there with Vista tips, and I'm not interesting in competing with them.  I'd rather spend my efforts on the upcoming Windows 7 instead.
  • The bottom line is, if you want my advice on how to do something in Vista, my advice is to ditch it and either "downgrade" to XP or upgrade to Windows 7.

By the way, I don't get very many emails from people telling me they like Vista better than XP, but I get a TON who want to know if it is possible to go back to Windows XP.
