Q: What is Windows Vista? A: Microsoft's previous attempt at an operating system. It was the successor to Windows XP and was released at the end of 2006. Q: What are your thoughts on Vista? A: It sucks. (Don't bother writing if you disagree, because you'll never change my mind and Windows 7 is out now anyway and we all know it rocks.) Q: Why do you think it sucks? A: Lots of reasons. I'm not here to bash Microsoft because I think Windows 98, Windows 2000, and Windows XP were and are really cool. But they layed an egg with Windows ME and now with Windows Vista. No big deal - Windows 7 is out and we can all be friends again now. Q: But, I have Vista and I love it! A: I am glad to hear it, and good for you. No hard feelings if you like Vista. I tried to like it, I really did. But anyway - back to Windows 7 now... Q: I have Vista and I hate it! A: Yes, sorry. Too bad you didn't find this site before you bought your new computer. :-) Fortunately, there are options, such as downgrading to XP if you just can't bring yourself to upgrade to Windows 7 yet. |
