Q: How Can I Speed Up My Computer?

Bookmark and Share

A: There are some hardware upgrades you should consider to speed up your computer, but before you plunk down your hard-earned money, here are a few things you can do to speed up your computer.

Download CCleaner and run it weekly.  This program deletes the temporary files that your system accumulates when you surf the web and run software applications.  Temp files are necessary, but most software does not do a good job cleaning up after them.  After just a few weeks, your system performance can suffer significantly.  CCleaner is free and works great!
