Q: What is the Best Office Suite? Bookmark and Share

A:  Microsoft Office is the king of the hill in this category.  There are several versions available and the price varies widely - and believe me, Microsoft is proud of it.  You can read all about it on the Microsoft Office website.

On the other hand, you could pay a much better price - FREE! - and use OpenOffice instead.  OpenOffice is a free, open source alternative to Office.  It reads and writes all the Microsoft Office file formats, so you can easily interact with people who use that product.  The only module of Microsoft Office that OpenOffice does not have a compatible module for is Outlook - so you'll have to use Mozilla Thunderbird or another email client instead.  I use OpenOffice myself - in fact I compose all my reports and eBooks in it as it has a fantastic PDF export option.  Before you spend any money on Microsoft Office, at least download OpenOffice and check it out.  You'll be very pleasantly surprised, and save a lot of money too.
